Introduction to Computers

This session is for individuals with limited experience with computers. Participants will become familiar with the basic components of a computer and in turn be less apprehensive about using a computer. They will know the parts of the Windows operating environment and be comfortable with simple navigation through the environment.

Introduction To Effective Written Communications

The workshops are for people who wish to improve the quality and effectiveness of their written communication. The course offers focuses on forms or writing such as memos, letters, and emails that are commonly used in workplace situations and everyday life. In practical workshop sessions, participants learn about the five factors which make for clear, effective and reader-friendly writing.
