On May 20th, 2010, the Mississauga First Nation Health & Social Services Unit hosted its annual health fair at the Mississauga First Nation Sports Complex. Representatives form every department of the health unit were on-site to serve as educators to patrons from the community and surrounding area.
Participants had the chance to visit with department employees to find out specific information about what each department has to offer and what programming is being facilitated in the community.
Community members also had the chance to participate in activities which gave them a chance to walk away with door prizes. Some of these door prize activities incuded; mini-putt, a poker walk and a draw for a grand prize of a canoe package.
