Fur Harvesting Course/Traplines
If there is anyone interested in taking the Fur Management Training Course(Trapping) please submit your names by November 24, 2011. In addition, the MNR on very rare occasions will have registered vacant traplines available throughtout our Traditional Lands. These traplines range from 10km to over 10km away from the community. If you have an interest in a vacant trapline, please contact our office using the contact information on this page.
Tentatively course is being planned for the 1st and 2nd weekend in December, 2011

Fish and Wildlife Management Planning Strategy
With the recent transfer of the Land Settlement Area, we are now responsible on sustainable management of all the fisheries and wildlife within our new lands. We are looking at ways of implementing a strategy that would assist us in managing this resource. Therefore we are asking if anyone would be interested in volunteering their time to discuss hunting, fishing and other harvesting activities that could assist in developing our (yours) management plans.
