Director of Operations

The Director of Operations oversees program managers, ensures compliance with policies and procedures, manages financial and human resources, and supports organizational planning and development. This role is key to ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsiveness across all services provided to our members. Guided by our Anishinaabe values and the Misswezahging Constitution, the Administration Department is committed to delivering community-centered, culturally informed governance that meets the needs of our Nation today and into the future.

Executive Services Advisor

The Executive Services Advisor plays a central role in supporting the effective governance and administrative operations of Mississauga First Nation. Reporting directly to Chief and Council and working closely with the Director of Operations, the Executive Services Advisor provides strategic and operational support to ensure that leadership decisions are implemented, documented, and communicated clearly and efficiently.

This role includes coordinating Council meetings and documentation, managing communications and information flow between political leadership and administration, and supporting policy development and implementation. The Executive Services Advisor also assists with strategic planning, ensures follow-up on Council directives, and helps uphold good governance practices across all levels of the organization.

Rooted in Anishinaabe values and accountable to the principles set out in the Misswezahging Constitution, the Executive Services Advisor ensures that governance and administrative processes reflect transparency, integrity, and the long-term vision of Mississauga First Nation.

Administrative Assistant

The Chief & Council Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of Mississauga First Nation’s political leadership. This role is key to maintaining organization, communication, and efficiency within the Office of Chief and Council.

With a strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural respect, the Chief & Council Administrative Assistant helps uphold the standards of good governance and service to the membership, in alignment with Anishinaabe values and the guiding principles of the Misswezahging Constitution.
