The Administration Department supports the day-to-day operations of Mississauga First Nation and works to ensure that programs, services, and organizational priorities are effectively coordinated and delivered. The department provides administrative support to Chief & Council and works across MFN departments to support effective, accountable, and responsive community governance.
Our Team
Director of Operations
Oversees the day-to-day operations of MFN Administration, supporting program managers and ensuring effective coordination across departments. Provides leadership in financial and human resource management, policy implementation, organizational planning, and accountability to support the effective delivery of programs and services to the community.
Executive Services Advisor
Provides executive and governance support to Chief & Council and the Director of Operations, coordinating Council meetings, documentation, communications, and follow-up on Council direction. Supports effective governance, policy development, and the coordination of information between leadership and Administration.
Administrative Assistant
Provides administrative and clerical support to Chief & Council, helping coordinate correspondence, records, scheduling, and day-to-day office activities. Supports organized, professional, and confidential operations within the Office of Chief & Council.

What Administration Does
Administration supports the day-to-day operations of Mississauga First Nation. Working under the direction of Chief & Council, Administration coordinates programs and services, supports organizational planning, manages resources, and ensures Council decisions are implemented through the appropriate administrative processes.
Governance & Administration
Chief & Council provides political leadership and direction for Mississauga First Nation. Administration is responsible for carrying out that direction through the day-to-day management and delivery of programs, services, and operations. The two functions work together to support effective, accountable, and community-focused governance.
